When its low tide on some beach, is it high tide someone else?

so the water depth never changes, it just moves on the coasts

right?

i know this may be a stupid question, iv just never really thought about it till now
When its low tide on some beach, is it high tide someone else?
When its low tide somewhere on the earth, it is high tide one quarter of the way around the earth both clockwise and counterclockwise and one half the way around the earth the tide is low also.
When its low tide on some beach, is it high tide someone else?
yes
Yes.
the tide is like a giant wave that goes around the world once a day (actually it is the world that moves, the wave follows the moon). There are two peaks opposite each other, and two troughs perpendicular to the peaks (a quarter of the world away). When the wave is high on one side, it is also high on the other side, but it is low on the perpendicular sides, a quarter of the world away to the east or west.
