You should change your tampon whenever you are finished swimming for good. Your tampon will absorb a little bit of the water you're swimming in through the tampon string, so it's healthier and cleaner if you change it as soon as you're finished swimming. Best of luck!
change it about every 2 or 3 hours, sit back and relax, just make sure the string is not hanging outside your bathing suit
