How do you get changed on the beach?
Female, from the U.K. I take a large towel and wrap it around me and wriggle around, but if it falls away and something shows, I don't stress out about it.

i would change into my swim wear in the nearest toilet,
and just put on a t shirt and shorts over the swimwear,
But when changing to go home i would either go and get changed in the toilet or if the swimwear was dry just put my clothes over it.
Being disabled it is easier for me to do it this way.

It depends on what I am wearing and where I am going. I try to wear my suit under my clothes and then just take off my clothes and my swim suit is underneath. If we are going someplace before hand then I will bring my suit with me and then change. Either way, when I come out of the water, I take my suit off and change right there on the beach. If I am wearing a two piece or topless, I start with my bottoms, dry quickly and then dress. If it is a one piece then I just take it off, dry quickly and get dressed. I lay my suit out to dry and figure if you don鈥檛 want to see me then don鈥檛 look.

Umm..I don't. I go in my bathing suit already on with a coverup over it and leave the same way.
I am too old to bother about what anybody thinks of me, so I would just strip and get on with it and feel sorry for anyone who looks!! I am Scottish, and we don't get the weather to stip off much, but I am surprised a lifeguard would even notice. You mucky sod. xx
I didn't know they had beaches in Ireland ????? Beaches that you would swim at that is !!! Going to be beach I would wear my trunks under my normal clothes, and they I could just take off normal clothes and already have my trunks on. To come off the beach I would have to use a towel or something to change behind, would not just get obviously naked to change. I am a male from USA. Of course if there was some kind of toilet or changing building that would be used, but the nature of your questions presumes that is not an option. With the value of the dollar dropping, may have to consider nude beaches since swiming suits may soon be unaffordable.
male, just do it in front of em, or if ur shy wrap a towel around your waist and just do it iside the towel
wrap a towel around you dry yourself and the put your underwear on then shorts or trousers and then you should be fine
I go to the beach house or change in the truck.
If I'm on holiday, I'll just wear my bikini underneath my clothes and wear a beach dress! That way, all I have to do is whip my dress off - no hassle!
I suppose if my bikini was wet from swimming, I'd just put my beach dress back on and then take the bikini off from underneath my dress with minimum fuss - replacing the bikini with a nice dry strapless bra and nice dry pants!
Some people make life difficult for themselves :-)

It depends on who is about. If I feel I can get away with it (i.e. no too many young kids or leering men!) I just whip the clothes off my bottom half and put on my bottoms, and then take off my top
half, and put on my top. Once a couple of years back when I went to put on my top I found I had forgotten it, so I went topless for a while (I do this regularly when we go to France) and no one seemed bothered, and since then I've never been particularly bothered about people seeing my boobs when I am changing, it makes life a lot easier!

A towel joined end to end. A piece of elastic around the top to put head through then no worrying about hands holding towel to stop it falling down you can do all ya need to do, top tip for getting sand off ya body take some talc with you smother over ya body and takes the sand off no porbs. Like Camilla, as I have got older I care less of what people see of me, but i don't want to offend anyone. I tend to wear shirts with tails that hide most of my ``bits'', if not I'll do a quick change if no one is looking, or wrap a towel around myself if it is busy, (if the towel will go around me!!)
I wear my swimwear under my clothes get undressed on the beach and dive in, on getting redressed I either use the loo close to the beach if none are available I wrap myself in a towel and struggle to get dressed under it, it's more difficult when wet but can be done. lol

Female, originally British, living in a hot climate now... I go to the beach wearing my swimsuit under my clothes. I come out of the sea about an hour before leaving the beach so that my swimsuit can dry naturally on my body (I rub myself down hard with a towel to help it along) and then I put my clothes back on over my swimsuit before living the beach.
same as you pretty much. i remember as a kid having to take turns holding two towels round other members of the family so they could change without showing any bits! I am also female from uk.
I try to avoid changing on the beach. But I do have one of those circular towels that goes over your head and then you can do the necessary changes inside it. Female, uk
