Are girls more prudish now?

In the eighties I remember a lot of girls used to go topless on the beach, change without using a towel or anything, wear loose t-shirts with no bra so you could see their breasts through the arm holes or when they leant forward, bikinis were really tiny and didn't leave a thing to the imagination, and so on.



Are we getting more prudish? In some ways women's clothing is sexier - lots of lacy underwear on show - but less visible skin. What do you think?

Yeah, %26quot;sexy%26quot; has changed. It's not the same anymore. I don't know if I'd call it prudish but it's most certainly different. And back in the 80's more women still had curves. Today so many young women are skinny and flat. ... Perhaps that's why they are more %26quot;dressed%26quot; they have no fat to keep them warm...

Go to any night club and chuck out time and I think you`ll find the ladies today are very un prudish,,
in the '80's people were individuals and were free to do what they wanted.

now, everyone is the same and has to conform or risk looking wierd.

also in the '80's if someone objected you could tell them to get lost, nowadays you have to explain yourself to people as there is more of an emphasis on being a team player.
